If I remember correctly, you can check a license out to a USB drive, but don't quote me on that. You could also go to a Network License for your next install, which allows you to 'check out' a license for a set amount of time so you can work when not connected to you license server. I have to use some additional security features (NetExtender right now) but there are a lot of ways to do the same thing. I get that it's annoying, but there are workarounds - as someone mentioned already, a lot of folks just carry their license with them, in the form of a workstation laptop.Ĭurrently, I use the Windows Remote Desktop utility to access my desktop from my laptop, which I find is much, much faster than running even a serious workstation laptop.
